Le spectateur cherche sa propre réponse dans un coin de mur, espace de jeu délimité sous ses yeux, dans les oscillations d’une artiste seule en scène, comme une invitation à focaliser sur l’intensité de la solitude féminine. Deux danseurs aux corps éprouvés se présentent l’un à l’autre – et à nous – sans fard, ni protection, le plus nus possible. Un homme face à une femme. Orin Camus et Chloé Hernandez de la Cie Yma tentent l’expérience du vide. Face à face ou confondus, malléables au corps de l’autre, ils inventent une danse de l’osmose, où le contact irrigue les échanges de peau et de poids. Après des années de travail chorégraphique en commun et de vie quotidienne partagée, Chloé et Orin se dévoilent dans ce duo de l’intime. La fragilité affleure, l’affirmation aussi d’une liberté. On pourrait appeler cela une cérémonie de la confiance. Par leurs gestes attentifs, lents, posés, ils semblent nous appeler à une résistance tranquille, physique, à la grande frénésie du monde. Une danse pour ralentir le rythme, et mieux comprendre ce mystère qui nous fait encore tenir ensemble, les uns avec les autres.

Dance performance
La douceur perméable de la rosée is the result of an incredible residency period in the Crozet Islands (a sub-Antarctic archipelago in the Southern Indian Ocean), the protagonist of La douceur perméable de la rosée is the gentleness of nature, a remedy and antithesis of the violence of our society. In a soulful research into energy, rhythm and repetition, the choreographer Paco Dècina emerged himself in this uncontaminated garden to listen to the forceful sound of silence. The sheer power of nature is transformed into a generous performance which reaches out to the public without any hesitation whatsoever. After returning from this residency programme, Dècina now invites the public to relive his own sensations and to make them aware of the tension that exists between the inherent harmony of nature and our physical incapacity to embrace this: «What I questioned myself on, after returning from this voyage, was the dichotomy between the spontaneous harmony of nature and the pettiness of Man. It was a true revelation, it is this fear that prevents us from abandoning ourselves to these landscapes inhabited only by the simplicity of reality».

Baroque music, live processing, and dance performance
Arthur is a collaboration between choreographer Paco Dècina, and countertenor Sébastien Fournier, around baroque repertoire, with Jay Elfenbein on gamba, and Fred Malle on sounds and live processing. LAGVOID is used all along the show and livelooping is used for counterpoint and canon effect.
