PostCard Summer Trip 2020

Like in 2019, a trip around France to meet other artists and places.

This began near home with Alain Poret and Gustav Trennert, with whom Fred Malle forms the group Algufr. On an old roman trail between Paris and Rouen : “La chaussée Jules César”…

Then a last soundcheck at home, for a “family jam” with Martin Malle…

First stop in the east, to meet drummer/percussionist Damien Kuntz, in the forest near Switzerland…

Then down south. A couple days to mix the (long) session with Damien, then another session in Auvergne, near Cantal mount that turned into house music…

A bit further south, in Cajarc, along river Lot, on a hike trail…

Finaly, near Mézin, to meet dancers from Yma, that organized some drive in dance performance. An opportunity for a musical picnic before their show…

At the same location, the day after, a long session with Orin Camus, from Yma, playing turntables…

And back home…

D’abord la Creuse, avec une session le soir autour du feu avec le vielliste András Vigh, puis quelques jours plus tard, une petite impro dub autour du Lac avec Bob à la flute.

对牛弹琴 means “playing in front of cows”, and is an linguistic chinese expression. Guess what it means…

PostCard 11. Back to the place where PostCard 03 was recorded in a cold foggy day, for a spring version of this place. This time, PostCard 05 and PostCard 07 tunes are played in one shot, still using the scripting ability of LAGVOID for a single pedal to trigger every command.
