Music, live processing and sound engineering for dance performance
Précipitations is divided into three panels and can be read as an exploration of three states, three artistic territories in which trio, duo and solo follow one another thanks to eight dancers on stage.
In the first part, three dancers take possession of the instability of a world in which there are only questions, uncertainties, transformations and at the rhythm of musical variations, they get together, they meet again and rediscover themselves as “the first time”. In the second part, around a scenic installation by Laurent Schneegans, a giant pendulum strikes the oscillations of the theater and, at their pace, time creeps in the body of the dancers and slowly coexist up to the disappearance. In the middle of the third part there is a video device that, in attendance of dance, allows to reveal itself in three dimensions, highlighting what is most essential in the movement.
Précipitations is the first dance piece where LAGVOID has been used to synchronise prerecorded events with on stage events, including the performance of Christian Lété, former Luniksproject guest.
The final theme is played bu Alexandra Grimal, another Marge Futura artist.
